The Mosque & The Sinner 🧎🏻♂️
Reinterpreting Sacred Spaces For All Muslims
a lecture by Imam Abdulrahman Chao
A masjid is the centre of the community. It is not only a place of worship but also a platform for gathering, learning, and socialising. But each community is built of people from different backgrounds and upbringings. Each society undergoes changes as time passes.
In this lecture, we will explore examples of how the Prophet (s.a.w.) dealt with the imperfect human condition. We will also learn how to create a respectful and welcoming environment at the masjid post–COVID-19.
